EAX GovReady™

Government modernization planning toolkit: assessment templates, governance planning, cloud readiness, and executive reporting.

Concept / Early Design

Executive overview

Public sector modernization is judged on process as much as outcome. A sound technical plan without a governance record is difficult to defend and difficult to fund.

GovReady is being designed as a planning toolkit for agency teams: structured assessment templates, a governance model to complete before commitments are made, cloud readiness review, and reporting shaped for oversight audiences.

Current availability

In concept and early design. Interface material shown is illustrative. We are speaking with agency leaders to shape scope before any build commitment.

The business problem

What this removes

The conditions that make the work expensive, slow, or hard to defend.

  • Planning artefacts are rebuilt from scratch for each initiative and each reviewer.

  • Governance is documented after decisions, which weakens the record.

  • Technical readiness and funding narrative are produced by separate teams from separate assumptions.

Business value

What changes for the accountable executive

Templates that match review

Assessment structure aligned to how modernization plans are actually examined.

Governance before commitment

Decision rights, ownership, and escalation recorded as part of planning.

Readiness stated plainly

Cloud and data readiness expressed as conditions to meet, not adjectives.

Oversight-ready reporting

Executive output written for a non-technical accountable reader.

Target organizations

  • Federal agencies and component offices
  • State and local government technology organizations
  • Public sector programmes with legislative or oversight reporting duties

Illustrative workflow

How the work would move through the platform

A representative sequence. Steps beyond the stated availability describe intended design rather than released behaviour.

  1. Select the planning template

Choose the assessment structure appropriate to the initiative's scale and oversight context.

  2. Complete the governance model

Name decision rights, owners, escalation paths, and review cadence.

  3. Assess readiness

Record cloud, data, identity, and workforce conditions with the evidence for each.

  4. Sequence the plan

Phase the work against dependencies and funding cycles.

  5. Produce the report

Generate the executive and oversight summary from the completed record.
